The objective of the Dynamics and Control (Robotics and Haptics) Laboratory is to create novel mechatronic systems based on the advanced information technology, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Specifically, the human interfaces with robots/vehicles/virtual environments are the main research topics of the laboratory, which require dynamics, control, mechanical component, system design, computer graphics, programming, and electronic engineering. The recent research focus is the haptic interaction with real/virtual/remote environments, which has potential for various applications, such as remote/surgical/silver robots, vehicle telematics, haptic broadcasting/game/ education, and so on.
